laws
To builder77
I saw on the news that you have some new laws in Virginia.
Over a thousand dollars fine for going 20 mph over the limit?
Over a thousand dollars fine for not using your turn signals?
Over three thousand dollars fine for leaving the scene of an accident?
Did I miss any?
I'm...
rights
Nope!! If that was the case you could charge airplanes and satellites a toll. In a lot of cases you may not even own the mining rights, they could have been sold or filed on a long time ago. (West is different than the east) Wayne
In 1926 the U.S. Congress passed the Air Commerce Act...
bow
Anybody know how they put the "bow" in the top bows? Are they cut that way from a board, Put in a form wet and then dried or maybe put in a press and steamed? Wayne
code
These emails are being sent by this group, anybody know them? Wayne

fuel
I would think the above words in your link tells the whole story, the engine in these trucks are not modern by any means and are designed to handle different fuels. Wayne
Jumping
Well most times anything done between consenting adults are proper but there are still some state laws about certain acts. :D
Now if you mean "slave starting" and have to ask, you really need to get a copy of your vehicle -10 and keep a copy in the truck.
The CUCV as issued has...
top
I have no hardware but I do have used three color soft tops for those trucks. If you need one email your zip and I'll check condition and give you a price. Wayne
trailers
I know electrical contractor used the trucks like that a lot. They would filled them with wire and supplies and park them on site.
Hard to sell without seeing a price though. Wayne
grease
Not giving you a short answer but I hope, NEVER! I had to put with those crazy drivers when I worked there and I can't imagine they gotten any better. Wayne
TM
I feel the same way about texting with a phone I just can't see the advantage of it but it's being done more and more every day. I guess it just depend what you feel comfortable with. Wayne
grease
The bucket pump FreightTrain mentions will save money over buying single tubes. It fit on top of the bucket and you fill your grease gun from it.
I bought mine from a farm supply place. Wayne

While these manual thread is up. Does anyone know of a list that covers the TM numbers and what they stand for?
I know the "9" are vehicles and then there are subsections like "9-2320" for wheeled" and "9-2350" for tracked. But is there a complete list somewhere? TIA Wayne
copy
They have this new fangled deal, I think it is called a printer and you can print the page or pages that you need and if they get dirty or wet or fall off the truck into a pile of oil, no big deal you just print more. :D Wayne
grease
Gee 50 bucks for 5 gal? Guess I'll have to raise my prices. 10.00 per 5 gal of military GAA. Cans are rusty from setting outside but inside is nice and shiny.
Might not be such a great deal if you need to ship, I think net weight is about 35 lbs? Wayne
truck
Well that depend on what you plan to do with it, work or fun?
If the gas was running good and you don't mind 4 mpg (if you are lucky) I would keep it.
The diesel made for that truck is only a little better at 5 mpg but it will then sound like a real truck. :D Wayne
