  Did the GL people let you "pre-view" any of that stuff? Not many places you can just look into the backend of something with tracks on it.
I drove mine home 300+ miles and never shut it off. If you pull into fuel and want to shut it down just let it idle for a bit while your getting stuff in order (getting out your atm/debit/c. card, stowing your drink cups) it should be warm enough when you start it back up, just give it a bit to...
Dont worry you got time. (a few days anyways) :-D Now if you found something with tracks........
Just kidding around. I dont have any money right now and I'd be living with my brother if I told the wife I wanted another truck. Hope it works out for ya.
Thats if its still there. There are guys here that if something rare (and cheap) hits the forum, they'll google map your location and find the thing by sattallite (sp?) photo and be out the door in an hour. :-P
Hmmmm my brother lives in Utah.......
That doesnt mean that they are coming up for auction. The DRMO lot near me is plum full of NG trucks from all over the nation with FMS freeze tags on them.
I have thought of the air off the glad hand idea. Harbor Freight sells a air over hyd. cylinder for use in an engine hoist (cherry picker type) but it looks like it operates pretty slow. as for hinges I haven't figured that out yet. I do know a guy that put a cut down deuce bed on a 1ton civy...
Does anyone have a source for the brackets that hold the gauges to the panel? Anyone with parts trucks willing to sell the guage brackets? When I got the deuce home from Streetbikedepot's place I decided to investigate why the oil pressure wasnt registering. Opened the panel and found the...
The AF used Strata Blue on their deuces in the 50's (I remeber reading that somewhere). One wheel on my 5ton was painted blue at somepoint in its service life.
I like that blue dump with the crane on it.
Those skid plates better be pretty stout to hold up the weight of a deuce. None the less I want one on my 5ton to protect the air dump valve on the air tanks.
Just wait till the day you put a low bid on a "cherry" piece of equipment and it goes to the last few hour then someone posts a thread that says "Hey every one look at what I found". Tell me how you feel then. This site has a rule, it has been broken alot lately and Ive seen Chris, the owner of...
