Self Locking Door Handles for the Deuce

An old F1 pickup I restored had the self locking door handles and they worked just like my deuce. On the F1, you locked one door from the inside and locked the other one from the outside since it had a key lock. I may just install a key lock set on my driver door.

    M101A2 Tomorrow

Yuk! Yuk! Chris. I was lucky, the GL guy moved it right to my truck and lifted it on to the pintle. The M101A2 is in great condition with all parts. The only negative I could see was the surge line is disconnected but it towed super all the way back to San Antonio.

    M101A2 Tomorrow

Well, I am sitting in my motel room waiting to pick up my trailer at Red River Army Depot (Hooks) tomorrow and the rain is coming down harder than a cow pissing on a flat rock. I sure hope the trailer is on a gravel lot and not in some field since the weather will be more of the same tomorrow...

    parts prices

One thing I have learned is that you can always find it cheaper. If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt. I buy from numerous sources but one thing that is important to me is the dialog available with SS member vendors. I really value being able to pick up the phone and talk real time to another...

Needle scalers to remove rust and paint

I got the bigger one at Harbor Freight and one needle broke with the first 1/2 hour. Called HF and they sent me a pack of 19 needles for nothing. Got another pack for $7 at the store. When a needle breaks, I just replace. I have a beast of a compressor and it works great. I have used it on...

    pressurewasher sandblaster attachment

I bought this attachment but have not used it yet. So far I have been using a siphon feed blaster outside my shop and a cabinet blaster inside for smaller parts. I thing I also do is to take a needle scaler to the really rough areas before blasting and this cuts blasting time and material down...
