Cool find. Being former Navy I like the tag. Those switches are awesome aren't they? :-)

New trailer maker to start production in Ohio.

I'm sure you might be able to find a M101A2 somewhere for $500 but not around here and if you do it will be in poor shape. I hope they do a good business.

    Utility Trailer Adapter for Truck

What finite element modeling software did you use? I used to support systems back in the day running Patran and Ansys. Just curious.

    Demilling

Take comfort in the steel going to China in that they process it and everything else without the EPA enforcing any clean air/water standards. Look at pictures from around the 1900s of our cities. Then look at any pictures from last week in Beijing. Their pollution is so far off the scale it...

M931A1 vs M931A2 - Dang at 57 years old I still can't make decisions on my own! HELP!

If I were getting one it would be the A2. Even though I like the sound of my 250 I think I would like the 8.3 even more.

can someone tell me the tongue weight of an empty m105 trailer???

Yep, 300 or so pounds sounds about right. Younger I worked out with twice that, now, no way. I use a 4 foot farm jack. A real Hi-Lift jack.

pulling 12v without a batt imbalance

A transformer only works on AC. A converter works on DC and converts DC to DC. An inverter works on DC and converts DC to AC. A power supply works on AC and converts it to DC.

Does anyone know the weight of 5th wheel assembly???

If you have a good shop crane it will lift even the heavy 5th wheel. That's how I loaded mine into my Dodge when I picked it up. There is still a market for them so list it for at least a few months. Guys use them to build dollies.

Does anyone know the weight of 5th wheel assembly???

It depends on which 5th wheel you have. I have seen two different ones on an 818. One is the cheap looking commercial looking one and there other is a real 5th wheel. Cast, thick and pretty darn heavy. I used my backhoe to move the one I had.
