The "Road Oiler" gets overdrive (700R4 Swap)

Tom, Do we have a common parts list like the one for the M35s and 800 series trucks where you could put all your part numbers?

    Tow Bar Storage

Good idea Jonathan. It would work in all but some extreme off-roading like one time following Stretch at Haspin. Work even better for a show truck or "road queen". It would have been nice to have when I blew up my Deuce and had to get the complete tow bar out of the bed.

    LOGSA access?

With the briefings I get in my day job I don't trust any website that causes IE or FF or Chrome to throw up the Cert warning window. DoD sites are hacked almost daily depending on the site along too many .gov sites so if it is warning you there is a reason. Maybe it is just an expired Cert and...

Where do you buy parts at for M101A2 ?

Etrailer.com has a few parts as Dell pointed out or find someone scrapping a 101.

    too much bandwidth required

I think I mentioned it before but my first computer that I owned was a Sphere. 1k of Static RAM with an RF Modulator to hook up to a TV and a built in keyboard. Audio cassette recorder for storage, no hard drive. It had a Motorola 6800 that was super easy to program in assembly language. My...

    too much bandwidth required

If Drew don't remember I do. I just threw away some 300BAUD modems last year. I think there was acoustic coupler in the box as well.

Either trip make sure and stop by the National Museum of the United States Air Force. :-)

    too much bandwidth required

I used to build Internet Service Providers from the ground up in a previous life and this came up all the time. Unless you pay for unlimited bandwidth and have guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) your connection is what it is. The SS website is NOT the problem.

    Adding a small inverter

Both of these have comments from people using them on MVs, including a comment on why you don't want to tap off one of your batteries instead of using both...

    Replaced Lower Radiator hose Today

I wish I had known to cut the hose before I put it on. When Gimpy and I got the old engine out of the blown Deuce I noticed why it was so hard for me to put in two years ago. Too long. It was kinked and pushed into the engine mount. Doh!!

    Adding a small inverter

I would use the large eyelet connectors on the end and go right to the bolts on the batteries with an inline fuse. Gimpy and I worked on a truck direct from GL that had wires attached directly to the batteries without a fuse that ran into the cab. Not good. I agree with the double the size...
