If your welder is the standard 30A plug then swing by and RV dealer and pick up the RV 50A to 30A adapter. I carry one in our trailer for just such an occasion.

Do they have all the roads open if you go through Oxford and out that way? During the summer rally I tried to take 725 out to IN and where it becomes IN44 it was closed. I had to drive all the way to Richmond and over and down to get to Connersville.
Just an FYI.
They would make great backup lights, just remember in a night convoy you could nuke the guy's eyes behind you.
If they fold up hitting a branch then they would probably make it at Haspin. ;-)
