Yes, there IS a lot of stuff crammed in there!

Anyone have a actuator valve (controls engine hot coolant) failure on their GEN 2 Red Dot A/C unit?

New Gen 2 installed. Blows hot and hotter air. Sounds like an heater valve. Odd. This unit is brand new.

How many hoses did you replace?

I would start with the fuel lines. Relatively easy and inexpensive. The plastic air lines are pretty easy and inexpensive. The wrapped air hoses are pricey to replace, require a DOT crimp, and use non standard SAE ends in most cases.

Can the fuel primer pump from a C7 be used for a 3116?

I don't know if you can see it in this pictures, but fitting from original primer pump is smaller that the new one. Maybe wrong primer part installed or variant? Puzzler... I put the old fitting next to the new primer in the pictures. The old fitting is small enough that it can just slide in...

Anyone notice the power steering filter replacement lacks a piece?

It looks like a hose barb, but it appears to be a fixture to hold the filter in the center of the spring loaded clamp. I thought the same thing initially, but it does not have a hole at the center to flow in to the inside of the filter. I used the Wix cross number in the list on this forum. The...

    FMTV ABS Connectors Rot

Lots like brake cleaner or a solvent may have eaten up that one. I don't see melting. Chinese rubber will do this prematurely as well, as the will deliberately leave out important rubber components to make more $$. UV will eat Chinese rubber in days and colors are often lost.

    Lmtv cab lift safety question

There is a lot of physics to get this cab open and shut. For example, the load on your hydraulics is non linear. Initially the load is high, then once you hit the center of gravity the force needed drops suddenly and dramatically. Add to the mass weight to a rack and you have more momentum...

Thanks to all who chimed in. Job done! My pure hydraulic system actually likes this bigger ram better.

What position did you have your cab in when you did the swap? Did you wedge a bar in there for safety?
