FYI
I have been experimenting with WMO to fire this type of heater. This things are very sensitive to flashpoints and don't like anything other than diesel. It won't stay lit. Problem is likely related to the fact that there no compression, as in a diesel engine. Might work at 50/50 wmo and...

Thoughts on the onslaught of State Laws that Pull us off the road
I am trying to wrap my head around the best leverage to change legislation when these types of things occur. One repeating concept keeps coming to mind. Climate change. More floods, fire, tornadoes, etc, and rescues of families...
Before the flames get thrown, I know nothing about this area of the law, so I am just trying to learn.
Hypothetical: Your State says that you can no longer drive your military vehicle. You own a cab for a semi truck that has been totaled (have title) and you own a military truck. You put the...

After looking at how much work that I have to do on my back under my m1088, I decided to modify a Kreepster brand creeper that I have. I actually hated the un-mod'd version. Total pita. Wheels fell off, etc. The new version has HF 10 " casters. It sits much higher, making access to air lines and...
It would appear that the air lines on my M1088 have seen better days. I moved the one on the center pumpkin, and it broke off. Everywhere I look, something rubber or plastic needs help. Southern sun UV eats rubber and plastic. Not unexpected, but will be added to an already long laundry list of...
Hi Guys,
It is time to replace the fuel lines on my M1088. Was wondering if someone has done this already.
1. Use push on barb connectors?
2. I think I saw someone recommending an inline fuel pump. Anyone do this?
3. Any special hose you recommend? I have seen the push loc brand and some...
Hi Guys,
I finally getting to take the 5th wheel off to start my RV conversion. Is there anything special to these nuts or bolts? I'm using a HF 1" drive air tool. Metric or SAE? Hard to tell with paint on them : ) They seem to fight being loosened. Guess I should not be surprised.
Thanks!
I note that one of our members had a steering box failure, with a large crack in the body. Any thoughts as to what might cause this? Have others had the same issue?
