Took the m1008 out for highway road test with the new vent seal. Omg the driver side door vent window was silent, no whooose, whistle. Now the passenger side was howling so that is next. At this point at 60 mph I can almost have a normal conversation

I use the seal kits from am-auto parts. They are good. It fit well but takes a bit of finagling on the vent seal.

So I broke my side vent window on drivers side. Decided it was time to tackle putting a vent seal in.
It is an 2-4 hour project dependent on how much refurbish work you do.
I thought I had more pictures but I guess not
The whole thing has to come out and then even the vent window and...
Thanks Joshuak for the bump. Yes I do have kits.
The one thing you could do to save on shipping is find a local saw mill. They can make these for you. Will probably cost more than mine given they are going to charge you for the oak and my oak is coming off my property. Just giving...
Have you taken apart the wheel bearings yet and checked and served them. The 101 trailers tow like they are invisible. I would not modify the trailer, but then again I own a few of them and they are my favorite trailer.

Anybody else a bit scared how that thing is blocked up in the air. I did not look at the video but if you glance at the picture it looks like something that I would not stand near.
It is easiest to take to a hose supply shop. Make sure you get a narrow fitting on the inlet side or you will never get screwed back on.
Fill the line with diesel when reinstalling and startup is essier

The funny thing is the work kind of breaks out like this
15 % take apart stuff
10-20% body work
50% sanding
5% mix paint cleanup
10% paint
10% assembly
Painting itself is a small amount of the project time
