Well thanks to generosity and Amazon, I have the bits and pieces. As I understand this, the MOV is just attached to the farthest left two terminals and the fuse interrupts the line going to the one terminal, correct?
OK, I have 3 gensets (802s) that need the fuse and MOV updates. I ordered 10 of the MOVs, but now I'm wondering if they can be "tested" as they age? Also I found the fuses, but I haven't found the fuse holders? Does anyone have a source ( I may have missed it somewhere?)

Weird, I went and looked at both of my trucks. The 1078 is a 94 and has the crimped ends. The 1083 has the non-crimped drag link and it is also a 94. So I guess I have an extra one now as I assumed both trucks would need them and bought 2.
They are used take offs from scrapped armor trucks I believe. The person that has them will be listing them on eBay soon I would imagine. Not cheap, but cheaper than the crimped ones and repairable.
Even “if” you were trading one issue for another, one is catastrophic when it fails, and one may leave you with a repair bill for a part that needs replaced. Seems like a good trade off to me
I got home about 5 Sunday eve. Weathered out the rain. First real long trip in the LMTV and 1061/280 combo. With the regear and HP upgrade even toting probably 10k in the trailer and bed was running 68/69 mph east on 20. And the ride is awesome with the newer seats. Definitely a winning...
