Get the Milwaukee Fuel M18 1/2 inch impact. I changed three tires on my LMTV off and on with half a battery. It never even struggled. Checked every lug with a torque wrench and they were all at or over the required torque.

Personally, and I'm sure to get flamed here but I like the GP way of selling better. If I'm not high bidder on an item there will be another in a few mins. I hate the GL way if all ending at the same time. It only helps the bidders who plan to buy all lots of a certain item. No matter what.

My experience is they are like bears. Feed them well ( good fuel additive to prevent algae etc) then let em sleep. Just put continuous charge to the batteries so the alternator isn't over taxed at restarting. They will be plenty happy. And that is from some pretty old northern winters.

The hubs are oil bath fed from the axle. That's nothing more than the cap gasket/seal. I can't remember how they seal. Its just a threaded plug.

Put the truck on the road yesterday. Also put in a rebuilt air/Hydraulics pump. Nice to actually have that working. Also bought the paint to start getting him painted the RIGHT colors. Was nice to take a good long ride in it.

Issue #2 sounds like afterglow. Its completely normal. The glowplugs cycle for a minute or two and the lights will dim and the engine surges.

If you just need to park it til you figure it out, bring it my way (Asheboro). Longer haul than wanted probably but its available
