After you install the master cylinder adjust the actuator rod so that the brake pedal has about 1/4” of “free travel”. The 1/4” is measured with the brake pedal pulled up and then slowly push it down by hand. Adjust the actuator rod linkage to get the 1/4”.
Be sure the return spring is good...
I’ve got the commo rack between the seats too. This had 2 antenna base mounts bolted to the upper rear cab corners. One base is with the truck - the other mount / base is gone.
I included a picture of the “mast” to that magnetic thingy picture. It indicates some sort of communication gizmo. There is a computer mount in the cab…?
My ‘02 MTV M1083A1 has the sexy push button service drive / BO drive light switch.
Question: we’re the fancy light switches part of some field mod / upgrade or simply a Army wide replacement for the older switches?
Just wondering if this newer switch indicates other upgrades / enhancements...
Sharing my experience & current status.
I completed and sent the EUC & SF97 to GovPlanet within 24 hours of purchase.
EUC came fairly quickly and I was able to get the Item Release and pick up the MTV.
After a week of no SF97 action I called GovPlanet & was told it would take 8 to 12 weeks...
