    The SF97 won't say anything about FMVSS compliance. I believe this is all a vestige of the off-road use only HMMWVs. That may be why the want to see the SF97...to see if it says off-road use only.

    This is NOT correct. Mine is illuminated when the dash lights are on. You probably have a bulb out.

    Along these same lines, I once got two M814s that had been rebuilt and came out of long-term storage. Both were stenciled FLUDS DRAINED on the doors. Not quite as humorous as the OP's picture, though!

    They are overwidth...114" wide if my memory is correct...it has been a while since I've owned one (M125).

    I can't comment on when they come in a truck, and when they don't, but my M1165A1 has a tach showing 161 hours (and about 1561 miles).

    So, become a premium member. I forget the cost, but it is minimal. It is something like $15/year to be able to post classified ads. It is well worth it even if you never sell anything as it supports the site.

    Along these same lines, a friend who was in the Marines for a number of years (most recently in a motor pool) told me that, if your truck has an RFID tag on it, it was almost definitely overseas.

    Mutt Multifuel Engine Information

    I don't know anything about that engine, but it is being listed by John Murray (TNJ Murray). John knows quite a bit about MUTTs and has a serious inventory of MUTT parts. So, if he says it is a multifuel engine intended for a MUTT, I believe him.
