    The heater duct hose was quite rotten. I replaced it with some flexible vacuum hose I purchased from McMaster-Carr. People are always asking what my truck is, so I also installed a sign on my toolbox to properly identify it.

    I installed the transfer case shifter boot. I tried to use the shifter boot that I’ve seen others use here (Mr. Gasket, I believe?) and it didn’t look like it was going to work without tearing when the transfer case was in low range. So I had to go an alternative route.
