Not to sidetrack too much, but my A2 with a PROPERLY tuned / turned up engine has no trouble off the line. I towed my Deuce, both trucks loaded with an extra set of tires, extra Allison etc.. prob 19-20K extra weight on the tow bar and in the bed and had zero trouble with it for 750 miles...

I hadn't seen this thread before, but that was my 5 getting pulled and that winch pulled HARD! We had to put a second side pull on from BBQ Rod to keep from ripping the front suspension sideways. I was amazed at the outcome and frankly sceptical when we got started.
