Well we went in three different directions between the two of us. Marty made it safe to Greensboro NC with the 1009, I made it to Houston via Delta, and my banged up truck made it to Andyrv6av8r house in SC. Thanks again Andy for helping me out on my short notice change of plans.
When I left we had checked in 135 powered vehicles and around 40 trailers. I'm sure the exact numbers will be up but let's just say we stayed hopping at the registration tent!
My 8.3 is VERY SLOW to warm up. It will take awhile to throw real heat like my A0 did. It took almost a year to work it hard enough for the fan to come on. The cooling system in that engine combo is huge.

When I was getting ready to tow south, the sage advise DH gave me was two words: "Be Seen". I ordered this bright banner and noticed vehicles moving out to pass hundreds of yards back routinely. It worked very well. Just my 2c.
