    M936A2 Need Engine Assistance

Man that sucks money in a bad way but when you get it out take lots of good pictures for us and see if you can find what caused it, will be good information for the future to maybe avoid this.

    Transfer case interlock

Sorry bud but the spring inside of the interlock keeps it unlocked, that is why if you have a hard shifting TC we say to bleed the air off and the spring will unlock it.

    939 series 14.00 x 20 air pressure

Okay this got brought up in a different thread and because it is a safety issue I thought it deserves it's own thread. The -10 says the wreckers should have 90 psi on highway, but the wheels are marked 85 psi maximum. I have looked at many different wheels and have not found any marked higher...

    Fixing Out of round Tires

Well kinda right only the wreckers are listed at 90 psi all others are 70 psi. Also the TM can be wrong occasionally, check out your wheels before putting that much pressure in them guys and I will check on this with CSMS and see what they say.

m923a1 transfer case will not shift--stuck in neutral

Does the truck have air pressure when you are trying to get it to change? If so bleed it all off and then try if that doesn't work take the interlock piston of then try again.

    Detroit locker question

A lot of the 1008 had gov - lock in the rear and many were changed to the Detroit in service. All of the 1028 had Detroits.

    Longest recovery trip on record?

Okay longest over land and this is just the deuce miles not the owner which would add 9000 miles. The truck went from Camp Shelby to La Grange TX back to Hattiesburg then to Anchorage AK, so about 6000 miles in a M35a2c w/w.

    Fixing Out of round Tires

No, no, no, please don't put 100 psi in 939 A1 or A2s the wheels are not made to handle that much and may catastrophically burst and if not the o-ring may fail. I know because I screwed up and did it and got lucky only my o-ring failed. Look up large tire cage on you - tube and you won't over...

Dear Blackmagic94 I am sorry but your source lied to you he doesn't have an exclusive, I would love it if you could buy an exclusive batch of trucks like that but sorry bud it doesn't work that way. Good deal bud most people just read the sidewalls but the 939 series wheels are only rated for 80 psi.

rear shocks on a 5 ton

Vintage iron I agree with your pressures on the 177s but not the 14.00s the wheels on most of these are only rated at 80 psi.

    Bigger or dual fuel tanks...

Would add a second tank in place of the toolbox and use the dual tank plumbing of the tractor or wrecker, the gage can be setup the same.

Has anyone tried to add an additional muffler to a TQG?
