You're doing great. Mount the compressor, condenser, and evaporator. Connect all 3 with hoses. Goes from compressor outlet to condenser, then from condenser to evaporator, finally from evaporator back to compressor. There will he a small black can called an accumulator on either side of the...
Yep, that is with the doghouse removed. The doghouse is the actual cover over that area when normally assembled. I didn't know they made 2 different ones. That is good to know in case I ever put a real engine in my 925A2.
Yes, meaning it is not temperature compensated. The common old stock 60 amp military alternators are manually adjustable though. Don't go higher than 28.8v or you will be boiling acid. Go lower in hotter climates. Anything over 25.6v is charging. 26.8v is fine, it is working.
Wow, nice alternator! That's a 130 amp unit. Cute starter too. What's up with the winch cable? Drum only goes one way? This is why I want a control out front also, so it can be wound back up with a single operator.
That alternator has a temperature compensated voltage regulator inside of...
OK, I'll be non-sarcastic for once in my life. The doghouse of a truck is the front center floor area where it is raised up for transmission clearance.
Member Rustystud over in the M35a2 department has the win on this so far. His treasure trove is from floor to ceiling lights with all sorts of goodies. First thing I spotted was an old carburetor type automotive air filter housing, the classic type with a snorkle sticking out of the side of...
I am not an 800 expert, but it should if it work the same. On an M939, the PCB ha 2 solenoids in it. One is for dash power, and the other is for starter engagement power feed (so dash switch is low current). For the dash battery power solenoid in the PCB, you simply connect a large wire...
Unsure why, but nearly half of the folks that bought them so far have done the same exact thing. I probably need to either make them the size of a mattress, or charge $3000 for them. Either may help, case by case.
It can. I took an old PCB, removed the bottom connector, and jumpered the power solenoid wire on it. If mine ever goes to lunch unexpectedly, I can simply unplug my PCB and plug this jumpered connector in and everything will work. My gear reduction starter has a relay on it so it only needs...
You need to stand back further when you take pics so we can better assess the treasures in your garage. All I could get out of it was a Goodyear A2 and a headlight trim ring.
One of the hydraulic circuits are likely stuck on. Either partially or fully. Check each and every one of them individually. Maybe something like an outrigger, etc.... The only way to really heat fluid that hot is to be compressing it. I'd run each circuit to their half way point, and then...
igm is being polite for once in his life. You were smart enough to check the pic file name huh? Guess good things are happening in FL.
What igm is referring to is I recently upgraded my starter to one of my own gear reduction units on my 925A2. Being lazy, I chose not to disconnect the...
The main pull coil (not hold coil) inside it is getting weak when hot. Make sure the connection for it is clean and tight at both the starter motor (small wire going to actual starter motor body) and its own 3 pin connector. Also would not hurt to clean the main ground junction point at the...
