I downloaded the software at lunch and took a couple of screen shot teasers. This was in demo mode, not connected to a vehicle. I don't have the interface cable yet. Looks like you can do some cool stuff. Change the target tire pressure buttons, test valves, read pressures, fault codes, etc...
Sit tight. Dana's free diagnostic software for this system can be found and downloaded at the bottom of this page.

You will still need an adapter cable (RP1210A) and adapter cable driver (download...
Yes, you should disassemble and clean if you never have. If you are just doing a water check, open the drain, and then depress the Schrader valve atop. It will do exactly what you are asking. It won't drain without doing this because of the fuel in the suction line.
Has anybody successfully reflashed an M939 series CTIS module to alter the tire pressure? Have seen one-off threads of supposedly being able to, and another of needing a "Y" cable to do so (Suprman), and free software download from Dana.
Would like to hear of a success story of actually having...
No. Check the 2 in-line blade fuses at the steering column in the cab. If the large one is blown, and blows again as soon as you flip the battery switch on, then the ABS module is fried, likely from an over-voltage occurrence if the truck switches are shut down in the opposite order of what...
Thank you for your experience of reversing in low range. So far, I am putting together the picture it has been OK as long as there is no load beyond flat/level ground on an otherwise empty truck. As others have said, my truck is also resistive to shift amongst T-case ranges, so I try to avoid...
This is absolutely correct. I own a DD 6-71T as a hobby engine, and I believe the only oil marketed today which is accepted to be used is Delo 40wt? The uniqueness of a 2 stroke Detroit Diesel's rings going past the cylinder ports is a difficult shearing operation on the oil, and I think...
Thanks for the confirmation on the pump key, second time I have heard that now. I have not had mine apart yet to advance the timing, so by just seeing the MW pump on eBay pics, one can clearly see the key slot. Can be deceiving.
The mechanical engine mounted lift pump is supposed to be able...
The alternator is rated at 130A, but that is in 100C ambient underhood temps. Normally, it will deliver about 140A or so at speed, and just about 100A at idle. It is designed and tested to last a minimum of 15 years and 150,000 miles. Salt spray, over-voltage, reverse polarity, etc...all the...
If you don't want to source parts, take the hoses off and into a place that makes hydraulic hoses, tell them what fluid you are using (diesel fuel). They have all the correct fittings to clamp on and can clone them.
Same as above. They take hours, and it won't move the gauge. An 8.3 should crank right up in that temp though, I think you are just confirming if it works? Check if it is warm around it like said above. If not, unplug and measure the resistance across it. Make sure your extension cord is...
Another "Don't Use Low-Reverse on 939 Series" Thread? Yes, But Fact Finding...
The "Don't use low-reverse" on M939 series seems to really have a mixed bag of emotions and outcomes. What I'm trying to decipher is, are there any cases of the T-case breaking from low-reverse usage with the front...
