What is the shipping weight of a MTVR A/C kit?

All I have is the contract# DAAE07-99-C-M007 If I had the NSN I would post the NSN. In the manual on yours it should say what the A/C unit was for. Mine has the manuals in the small square box. The manuals say MTVR A/C unit. For a Cat 12 engine according to the contract.

goldneagle's M923 recovery and modification thread

Yesterday evening I got the 5/8" grade 8 all-thread from Mcmaster Carr. This afternoon when the weather cleared I went out and installed the all-threads for the back bolts on the shackle mounts of the front bumper. All went smooth and I even managed to prime and paint them in place to keep...

Another hmmwv seat modification, but with 3 seats

On my 5 ton I decided to use a 1/8" thick steel plate that matched the one on the springer including the mounting holes. Since it is a plate of steel it would work with any seat bolt pattern. I bolted the seat to the plate and then bolted the plate to the original mounts in the floor. Simple...

Still have some wiring and lights to do inside the cab. I may also get a radio for the truck and hook up a CB.

The passenger window is showing reflection of my vinyl siding. Siding is Olive color. I agree about painting the padlocks. I'll get to them shortly. I already mentioned about the white links on the chain...not going through with it!

OK... I admit it... that first step in the M925A1 is a Bit%$ .. what have others done

The difference is the location. It would be about half way between the front and middle axle. If the front went down the middle point would catch first.

    overheat and then no start

If the filters are clogged it may run a short time and then die due to lack of fuel getting to the IP. Check the primary filter for a bunch of crud on it. Then check the secondaries as well.

OK... I admit it... that first step in the M925A1 is a Bit%$ .. what have others done

If they are rigid, they may be an issue off-road. If they catch on anything they will tear, or even possibly damage the fuel tank.

OK... I admit it... that first step in the M925A1 is a Bit%$ .. what have others done

OK I think I came up with a nice design for a extra step to climb into the M939 cabs. It has to be the same length or shorter than the the existing step on the driver's side. Here is the design I came up with: The step shape is an L with triangles on the sides to help support the shelf...
