Just have them ship it to the nearest freight terminal and go get it from there! Make sure you give a contact name and phone number. It is the same cost as shipping to a commercial location with loading dock. I ship freight all over the US for my Ebay business so I am talking from experience.

I really think you need the intank fuel pump working to start and run the truck. Otherwise there would be no need for the intank fuel pump. You may also want to check the fuel lines for any air leaks. When you are trying to pull fuel any leak will make it hard for the fuel to be pulled...

Tubes also allow you to reduce tire pressure in certain applications without breaking the seal on the tire. You could also have tire failure on the road and the insurance company would love to NOT pay up due to illegal tires. My opinion is you are just looking for trouble!

A spring-loaded check valve is not gonna work with this setup.. Would need to be under pressure. The oil in the bell housing needs to drip out not be pushed out. The non-spring type check valve could open due to waves or water movement. Am I missing anything here?:-|

I have a Lincoln 175HD mig that I use with Fluxcore wire. Gas is useless outdoors! I used a n old Oscilloscope cart to roll it around on. It will do up to 1/2" plate when used with .045 Fluscore wire.

I would also check the connections to the battery and the main ground to the engine or frame. The connections could be loose or dirty. Carefully remove the clamps from battery terminals and use a wire brush or a brush designed for battery terminal.

You can always put an inline shut off valve to stop the flow to the unit and therefore shut the unit down during offroading.
