I had someone steal the rubber snubbers off of my windshield on my M-151 at Aberdeen. It is not like it used to be. I am not so sure it is the community people as much as the public. Although mine disappeared at night so you tell me.

Sorry I didn't get more pictures of the trucks but we were having camera issues plus I was not feeling well enough to go on the ride when all of the trucks went. I do have a few more pics that I did not put up, I will go through them and post tonight. I ran the blue trail on Sunday evening and...
OK gang, got it figured out. Dug out the jumper wires and the meter and just started testing. I had two "B" wires coming from the main harness which did not help matters. Here is what I came up with in case anyone else runs into this.
B = 460-22
L = 461
J = 460
A = 461-22
B = 22
K = 461-22
I...
I am new to putting pictures on this forum so I hope it comes through. This is going to be a hard picture to figure out. You can see the light plug, The six wires coming off of the same harness are the ones I am dealing with. One side of the connector goes to the main light switch wiring and the...
OK guys, This problem I am having is actually on a m-151 but I know the M35 used similar wiring so I hope someone can help. I have exhausted all of my 151 resources. I have a 64 M151 with the later turn signal unit. This was apparently converted from the old mechanical setup while in service...
I want to thank everyone for making us feel at home in your group. I know a 151 is a little small for you guys but we had a great time and will return next year. Have some pic's and will get them up tonight if I can find time.

No matter what I would not leave the mechanical pump on. You have to pull it off to see what is going on with the rod so even if you don't use it you are sure you don't screw up the cam. An electric pump will take care of a lot of the start up problems you have been having.

Yup, A 24 volt short will do a lot of damage REAL quick! You say you bent an injector line, that may haunt you also. Believe it or not that can change the timing on that cylinder and create one hell of a knock. Just keep that in mind when you fire it up if you have a strange sound.
Rick
This is obviously not your first time around an engine but keep in mind that this is not a gas motor. Check the crank very well since that is usually the first to go with ether starts. It will break right after the second rod. Do not under any circumstance bend any of the injection lines or you...
The CDRV probably just needs to be cleaned out. Blowby is basically smoke and oil vapor but mostly smoke. It is what leaks past the rings during the ignition of fuel. I have never heard of cleaning rings. How many miles are on this engine? The rings should be good for 100,000 with no problem...
All diesels have a fair amount of blowby, that is just the nature of high compression. The blowby is controlled by the CDRV, Crankcase Depression Regulator Valve, mounted on the top passenger side of the engine. You can't really "blow" rings out short of breaking them. Be sure you keep ALL of...
