Finally got rid of the set of HMMWV wheels and tires that have been in it for weeks. Dang tire sets are heavy. Now I can use trailer again!

Those brake levers are on the unobtainable list. I too would like to see that! New ones are impossible to find. They are built well that’s for sure.

That is a commercial trailer. I’ve seen a few around here. No clue on details. Unless you have to have it, stay away from tilts for any equipment. Problems with tongue have been mentioned and depending on equipment type, loading is a nightmare unless it’s a small track vehicle (skid steer)...

ACDELCO still makes the ignition parts.

Most aftermarket cables are junk and do not fit properly, according to old threads. You get what you pay for. Why waste $24.95 for a lousy cable? If you can’t find a GM one, recommend to have one made like mentioned in thread above. I still have my NOS GM ones and haven’t used them yet.

If you find an aftermarket boot that fits, post info to help others. Spicer does not make one that will fit. I think I bought cucvrus’s last factory GM boot for my M1008A1. Still haven’t installed it. Soon........

I installed one almost 3 years ago and have yet to use it. Truck always starts like a champ all the way down to -6*.

Yes I’ve called them both about a year ago. Once they heard the words civilian and individual, they couldn’t get off phone fast enough. Emailed also. Didn’t matter being a veteran.

Yes I looked up that long ago. Their nowhere to be found. Would love to be proven wrong as I want to buy four new ones. Some levers out there are close, but not identical. Just like the cables. Someday.........

No I’ve contacted the trailer manufacturers (Of my trailers) to find out. They refused to even talk to me since I’m not the government or a Corporation.

Still amazes me how scarce parts are for these trailers. Thousands built and can’t find a correct NOS brake lever and other parts.

I had one bent almost 90 degrees at mounting bolts when I recovered trailer. It straighten up very nice, but wasn’t easy since you can’t disassemble them. Especially the knob. If I had an extra one I could figure out how to take it apart. Not risking the ones I have, as they finally work.

There are a few than could be adapted. Wouldn’t be original and would look weird, to me anyway. That price is insane, like most of their items.

I hooked up my tan M101A2 and moved it about 400 feet. It’s full with a set of HMMWV wheels/tires that I’m trying to sell and needed it out from under trees. Haven’t used it much lately. Will be painting the tan one once the temps cool down a bit.

Brand new ones are impossible to find so do what you can to free it up. I have not used a torch or taken it apart. Doesn’t look like you can without needing replacement parts. I soaked mine in penetrating oil with some success. Luckily the adjustments on all of them were already very close...
