What did you do to your deuce this week?

Have them in my Deuce. They were easy to install and work good.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Mrmag1, your looking good so far. From your picture the only thing I see wrong is that your battery box is in backward, or 180 out. I'm glad you posted a picture as this will save you from some extra work. In your picture, the line of 5 holes near the top of the box are for your battery box...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Mrmag1. The Bow Handles came on the plastic battery box when I purchased it. It's not new but it cleaned up ok. One of our members here on SS might have a battery box, or a pair of bow handles they would like to sell. If not you might keep an eye out for a beat up battery box that you can...

Finished drilling the holes for the new battery box Bow Handles. Then I installed the new plastic battery box and new batteries. Next I got the new battery box with batteries installed in the battery comp., then cleaned the terminals and clamps. Finished up by making sure everything was tight...

    REO M275 truck tractor

johan77. Looks like you've found a nice clean original truck. NDT is correct about the fifth wheel not being original. Here are some pictures of the aft end of an M275A2 showing the correct fifth wheel. On your brakes, check your Master Cylinder, then the, Air Pack, Flex Lines, Wheel Cylinders...

Bobs ARMY/Navy Store in Mojave, CA. Is it Still Open?

Is Bobs ARMY/NAVY Store in Mojave, CA. still open? I've been by several times over the last several months usually on a Saturday and he's been closed. Out back there's a couple of trailers and an M38 left, just about everything else outside is gone.

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

Dead, I apologize for the crummy pictures. Seems my camera batteries needed to be recharged. Here's some better ones. Being as your this far along, you may want to install some new front axle dust boots.

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

Dead, this is the Front R/H brake flex hose on my Deuce. Year 1971/72. The flex hose goes from the Wheel Cylinder to a clamp, from the clamp to a bracket that bolts to the axle housing, and then joins the steel line on the other side of the bracket. What year they made the change from early to...
