My original pump went out to lunch years ago, so I installed this external pump that I purchased from OD Iron about 8 years ago, and it's still going. Some of our vendors may have them.
I'm sure a member here has one in good condition. I personally would love to have a nice M275A2. Welcome aboard from Nevada. Lots of good off roading out here.
The M26 & M26A1 prime mover was the Hall-Scott 440. The engine displaced 1,090ci. (17.9L) ran on gasoline, and developed 240hp. at 2000rpm. It would be nice if someone could step up and save this M-26A1, it's a rare piece of American Military History.
I changed out the drivers side dust boot today. The zipper was seized so I had to cut it off. Will change the passenger side tomorrow before the bad weather moves in.
First picture is of the original B-58 configuration with 4 engines in 2 nacelles, and with a much different pod design. Second & third pics are of ship 1 with the Convair factory paint scheme. The B-58 was with out a doubt one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built.
