Welcome to the site! WELCOME from south of the border!
There is a lot of LMTV build threads for these trucks. When the time is right, maybe that will be your next project. Heck, we have guys that have kept their green look and others have dressed their trucks in all kinds of colors. Hope...

That is really impressive. Funny how going fast on gas was one of the things that Smokey was really good at. I remember too that we used a super fine mist of water into the intake ports on the manifold to actually cool the gas and made more power that way. Nitrous done the same way - not...

Pretty Amazing.
I guess we would rather finance the flood of people crossing our southern border than complete a carving of one of the original settlers in our country.
.
Yeah, it is pretty sad - but at least you were willing to leave you money in your pocket.
Once you hand over the dough the deal is done.
Good, Bad or Indifferent you might have ended up with a pig in a poke.
.
Well... That was my logic as I thought more about the post I just made. BUT it was working - right? Do you suppose somebody has "rigged" in is some other form or fashion? Disconnecting what you have now - or verifying that air is coming out of the hose would definitely be nice to know...
.
Interesting that the line is terminated or pinched off. Seems like it would have been more trouble to do all that than disconnecting the line and moving on... The deuces that we built to work in the swamps had that line vented up the back of the cab. That way, if your head is under water the...

I had thought the same until this morning - when I spotted the nose of George Washington Chief Crazy Horse. I was curious about the hole in the rock. Still am, but It is a really impressive picture and a COOL place to visit.
EDIT: I was mistaken. Thanks @Jbulach !
.
Well, it looks like I started reading and missed that this was an old thread that was started about three years ago...
Sad to say that Stop, Look, Listen and Live that Southern Railway was pushing at grade crossings on the 70's didn't solve the problem. I guess they helped some though...
.
Hate to say it, but there is gonna be an ass-whipping if I don't get my change. I am a patient person, but my money is mine. Even a nickel that is mine will be put in my hands before I walk away - or they can give me back whatever money I gave them - and they can keep their goods.
I had a...

Like all the other guys mentioned - Welcome to the outfit!
There are lots of good folks out there in Texas that have MVs and are willing to point you in the right direction for parts and information. As mentioned, grab a bunch of pictures of your New-To-You vehicle and post them for the rest...
.
Heck of a nice truck! I really like the inside of your box on the back too!
Welcome to the outfit!
That 720 mile trip and safely done with no real trouble is a great confidence booster! If you go on a quest for air leaks, house air into the red glad hand will pump up the air system without...
.
Well Congratulations!
Welcome to the outfit too!
Snap us a few more pictures. Inside and out, under the hood, under the truck...
All of those pix will start yourself a new thread in the "Present Conflict" forum.

That way you can show your...

Just thinking along with you... The 4 spring leaves measured against 3 leaves should be the same height. There could be a difference if adding that third chunk of metal was designed to add more carrying capacity. Different spring companies do it differently. Some add to carry more weight...
.
Welcome to the Outfit!
That's a nice looking rig you have there...
The trailer that hauled your new-to you little green monster home is pretty nice too!
There are quite a few guys here with those machines so as you discover things - there are good resources to learn from and share with...
.
Looks like a nice paint job and some big fat tires on it...
If the inside is anything like the outside, it appears that you have a nice truck!
Welcome to the Outfit!
Be sure to download the TM's for your truck!
The M931 is covered in the M939 Series of Trucks
.
The "fail condition" for the air engagement on the fan clutch is to be ON.
Is it possible that you have an air leak? Where maybe you could add "house air" to the red gladhand (CHOCK YOUR WHEELS FIRST) to air up the truck and see if you can find a hissing noise? You won't be able to turn...
.
That is sad and spastic... I had a problem with my CTIS where "it works - it doesn't work" and strangely in my particular case, unconnecting the box from the wiring I discovered a white powdery look. Got after it a little with canned air. Disconnected the batteries - just to make sure I...
.
I am liking the lake idea pretty good...
You could always offer the FD the ability to draft water out of your pond
I almost think you need to be writing a book.
Makes me smile when you spin up a yarn for sure!
.
That would be a major win...
A new fuse would be a nice fix for sure.
Might be worth your time to clean that fuse holder and apply a tiny bit of anti-oxidation paste to the new fuse.
