A little more info on the B-54. The Pratt & Whitney Wasp Major VDT engine diagram. On paper the engine was capable of 4000/4500 hp. Also the Boeing B-54 mockup.

I admit to being a bit old fashioned and run Rotella T 15-40W + 1qt. tb zinc-plus in the engine, NAPA GL1 in the transmission & transfer-case, & 80-90W synthetic in the diffentials.
Cap your stack when your parked. Rain & snow will accumulate in the bottom of the J Pipe and it will rust through. A soup can will do as a cap. Also from the type of holes in your flex pipe, it looks as though it was rubbing against the body. Do a fit check when you install your new flex pipe.
First welcome aboard. Second, as already stated change you primary and secondary fuel filters, and check your fuel tank for debris. Also get familiar with the TMs (tech manuals). You'll find plenty of knowledge and support here. Keep us posted on your progress. (send pictures)
