Best to talk to your local DMV for any limitations a historic tag might carry with it.
Same with antique tags.
Seems like most guys have theirs tagged normal.
I have mine tagged as a farm truck since it does daily duties on the ranch.
I bought it at Atwood's. A local farm and ranch supply chain.
Their called Black Jack. Made by Butler Jacks (same company who makes the tongue jacks for the M1101/2).
I don't own a M105 trailer so I can't answer that.
Sure you can weld it on, but that's a big trailer.
Look at their...
Power washed both trailers today.
Amazing how nasty they can get just sitting under trees.
Bought new 5k swivel jacks (Butler Jack) for them also.
Will weld the bases on this weekend.
My lower back will definitely be happier.
That looks good!
what size?
-6 or -8?
If you can, post what fittings, adapters, etc that you used. Part numbers too.
Guys are always looking for an alternative.
I know the hose itself won't last forever, but Aeroquip fittings/hose are a lot easier to find than the original lines.

Welcome to Steel Soliders from Oklahoma
Sounds like a lot of work is in store for you.
Did you get it at surplus auction or private seller.
These are incredibly versatile trailers.
Post pics and info as you complete the build.
Really?!
Ok
Water in the tank, install new tank.
Wait a year or two, or less, more water in new tank. Install another tank.
Repeat as necessary.
Totally unnecessary with correct additive.
But if someone wants to do that, knock yourself out.
Most guys on here knew what I meant.
I emailed Unicor.gov today and requested any information they might still have on these sets.
Not very optimistic, but worth a try.
Edit: Unicor never responded.......shocker.
What model truck?
Is the glow plug system stock or modified?
What exactly is the DMM reading?
"less than normal" isn't helpful.
What does intermittent running mean?
Running rough and then smooth or engine sometimes quits and then starts?
Any good trailer place will have fenders of all sizes and shapes.
Dexter and Redline are just two of many trailer part/Axle manufacturers that supply the government with parts.
See if the TM lists the fenders separate
Use the NSN number on parttarget.com and that will tell you who makes them...
I do also add two-cycle oil to the diesel fuel.
Not a single engine/fuel issue.
Everyone has their own idea and preference on what to, or not to, use in their fuel.
For me, Seafoam (everything) and two-cycle oil (for diesel only) is, and has been, working extremely well.
To each his own, but I have had nothing but positive results.
I use it in everything. From motorcycles, lawnmowers, to my 5 ton.
My brother and uncle do also.
Never an issue.
Put a can of Seafoam in the fuel tank and see if that helps.
More times than not it does.
I would also change the fuel filter.
You never know what junk was in the tank.
Yes and yes.
He and I were both hoping it could be fixed.
Unfortunately, something was cracked (forgot what he called it) and he said it was a death sentence for this type radiator.
Showed me the spot and it was definitely there.
The owner is a military vehicle fan and was extremely...
