    Put some grease in there. Also, check the bushing/bearing of the trunion if you've never serviced it.

    The shorty deuces have their place. What info are you looking for? Not a whole lot of details to offer, that should have been gotten from the creator of the truck.

    Yes different shifters. If you look in the TM it will illistrate the parts. You are correct about what you need.

    For future referance, Pull the negative wire next time your working in ANY engine bay. The potential is ALWAYS there to arc if you don't.

    DEUCE flywheel install

    They removed it w/o marking for correct installation, let them fix it! It will only go on one way. 6 bolts means 6 trys will get it, just make sure they mark it as they try it so it isn't tried twice. Last time they make that mistake I bet.

    So your looking for plate height, not length? A google search for pintle hitch extender should produce results. I often click on the images search so it will take me to the exact thing I'm looking for.

    I would imagine you could but it would be expensive. Why not use a longer hitch adapter for the pintle(truck side)?
