Yea your another one here that never post's with "Attitude" or "Bragging" and no "BS" there G. Thanks for all your help while we are here and doing the laundry. The facts mama just the facts. So he must have been fakeing it the last time he slept here. Guess I need to go check all the trucks to...
Yea and he does this all without "attitude". Think I would buy him a pizza and let him sleep in my bed while I slept in the M373A2 trailer when he passes through.
"Same page" you said 3/4 the first time will not do the job. After switching from one inch air at the shop or carrying a truck four way with cheater pipe when in motion I now love my 3/4 Milwaukee. I don't leave Houma without it.
I was checking the check book when I first saw the ITV's. Decided it was not the best toy for me and the local mud pit.
Curb weight 4536. Is cute and looks like a lot of cool extras like rear steer air bag and such but going to pass.
The TM calls for 50 foot pounds then back off 1/4 turn. Then 10 to 20 foot pounds and see if the inner gear plate lines up with the pin. If not do not tighten but you can back off one spline.
I took all of mine to 20 and had one line up perfect the rest had to adjust a tad.
I would assume so and yes it needs to be the seven inch to reach in over the long spindle. Yea seen where OP's just added more length to a standard 1913.
When the transmission is shifted from reverse to neutral the reverse sprag switches to forward sprag and any forward gear you pick. That is why you can not use neutral to back / coast down a hill because it is in forward sprag.
Air leaking can also be the transfer case air cylinder preformed...
OTC 1913GOV. 3 and 7/8 inch 8 point, seven inches deep 3/4 drive.https://dpequip.net/shop/other/5120-01-567-9296-3-7-8-socket-navistar-3114485c1-otc-1913gov-spx-521687/
Have the hubs been serviced / bearings repacked buy you or anytime in the near past? If not then I like to do a hub service and replace the boot non zipper then.
I did all six of my hubs over a year ago and what I did just for smitts and giggles was rotated one hub around and checked every gear at the six o'clock position. Seemed to be the close to specs on every gear so I did it just on that one. With a cut metal hub or your printed one at least the...
Yes four point clamping would seem to be the best in this case. The O rings seem to be the only thing that really holds the cross from the metal to metal contact when it is seated into the hub. When we use the cut off metal cap it for sure crushes them down and we get the metal to metal that we...
No gaskets just the cross O rings. If we were to remove the O rings we might be able to get away with just a top cap and bottom cap to hold the cross in if the plastic is hard enough. As per Steve's advice we place the cross with one set of gears horizontal and the other vertical then we are...
Here is just one I found with a search in the 5 ton mod forum. forum.https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?183876-5-ton-Sprag-Switch&highlight=sprag+air+cut+off+switch
Looks like a good plan. Don't know if you plan to design it with all the mounting holes but if it is strong enough then it would seem like we would only need the eight to hold in the cross and gears. Believe when setting up the hub we could remove the cross O rings for the set up and replace...
Yep would seem be the best way but in the thread it talks about it. .https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?82241-freewheel-axle-flanges&highlight=brass+bushing+for+hub
I said five hole but they were four hole and have not seen a post about it. Seems like it would be great atomization. Did anyone see the video of the guy the ran his Deuce injector pressure on the tester up to 5k? Talk about atomization it made a fog that hung in the air.
Just check the timing button if it looks good and no damage plus new clip. No on the Head yet. The button flat side out and dish side rides on the plunger shaft. Stupid little clip just barely holds the button on!! Stupid clip Dumb button is my .02
