Speddmon.....the frame is still in a pile in the back of the deuce.....might take a while to find as FSN or NSN.
Jim.....it is that type type tent....the only one I ever helped put up had canvas and was a real PITA to set up. We had a 4K rough terrain fork lift that made the job a lot easier...
I just picked up my maint tent frame (thanks DEUCE-C0UPE AND PCTRANS) today and I need a manual with the instructions for erecting it.
Until I get my new shop built this should keep me out of the sun and rain.
Anybody have one or know a source???
This is exactly how accounts get locked out.
No one in Customer Service (and I use that term loosely where GL is concerned) is obligated to inform you if there is a glitch.
I was told this by the head POGUE after my card was refused due to expiration date (my card was good.....I just had not...
You can take the old Sergeant out of the Army but you can't take the Army out of the old Sergeant.
Of all the things I miss about the Army I miss my soldiers the most.
All lots in that auction were recalled when the seller determined that customers were actually getting some relief from using said lot. Customers were offered an alternate item....Grease, Artillery and Automotive (GAA) mixed with sand.
Pipeline deuce, air compressor deuce, signal body deuce with pole auger, bolster bed deuce (I think they made a deuce version....may have been a 5 ton) and I think I remember a version that had a clamshell crane and a half cab.
Our resident MV expert David Doyle would have a complete list.
UPDATE!!!!!!I reconned the Ironworks the other day and there is not enough room to manuver the trucks (it had been a while since I visited and I thought there was more space).
I have found an alternate rally point and will post the details in a few days...the date remains the same, Sat., April...
I had won two trucks and they rejected my card due to expiration date....I had a new card.
The claimed to have emailed me but most stuff from GL hits my spam box and is deleted.
I went through the whole goat roping with them and they tried to jam me up for 300 bucks also.
The lady I spoke to...
My old Army Reserve unit had a brigade stationed down there.... I never got to make the trip. You might check and see what Nat Guard and Reserve units are located there.
I have been told that theft is rampant there. Our unit had an ongoing problem with stuff being stolen off the ranges (target...
Scrap is bumping 10 bucks a pound again....that's (sound of gears grinding and smell of overheated brain)........a lot of money. It ain't looking good for those two.fat lady sings
Let me see what is in the parts pile.....I think I pulled one off an engine I scrapped.
What is a fair price???
Shipping would be a bugger...they are heavy.
If you drive a deuce to Wal-mart just cause you can.....you might be a redneck.
If you married a handicapped woman so you can park your deuce right in front of Wal-mart.....you are a redneck.
Cheap shipping may be a problem for a while.....the gooberment just sold 3,000 FEMA (Feeble Emergency Mis-management Agency) trailers in Mississippi and all the hot shot guys are doing a land office business moving them.
You would basically be driving a huge rig with the same visibility you have in an MG Midget.
Imagine being in something like that in a driving rain or snow storm.
Not me brother.....give me the M915 any day.
In a big rig you need to be able to see the big picture.
