The injectors flow more fuel than is delivered to them. One injector over the other will make no difference power wise. That is the responsibility of the IP. The injectors need to be matched to the injection lines. They have specific angles. The 6.2 injectors are physically shorter than the 6.5s.
Dr., after meeting you guys up at Kip's, I am not surprised at the exchange of texts.
To quote Patrick Warburton, "well played"
Bwaaaaahahahaha. lmfao!
Kick ass fuel filter you got there buddy! So how much was the rebuild of the IP? I have a spare ds4 I might get rebuilt and if this guy does quality, I don't mind the cost(I know yours was a db2).
Yes, much less parts available for the mack then the multifuel, but its a stronger motor. I would bet the issue is with the T case rather than the front axle. Probably the sprague
The reason it isn't directly coupled to the shut off lever is because it floats while the truck is running. It would wildly effect the throttle response if it were connected. I've run a truck while the shutoff was off the ip, it's interesting to watch.
You need to learn the correct terms of what your working on. There is no "teeth" in the advance unit. Thats the disk under the 4 bolt window. No colors in there either.
So, now it sounds like your talking about the gear that drives the hyd head when you talk about the "red scored tooth".
