That would be useful. Especially if there was a short version of what that vendor sells or does. The big guys cover a lot of the spectrum. Others are electrical (Starters and Alternators) and some are tires.
I don't volunteer money very often, but maybe a few bucks contributed to SS for...

I definitely agree with silverstate55 . That should be a fairly easy fix too.
If you happen to have an air compressor at your place, you might connect it to the truck one day. Air goes in at the drivers side front glad hand to charge (pressurize) the air system. CHOCK THE WHEELS and limit...

Welcome from North Carolina!
When you get your "new to you" truck, be sure to upload some pix.
Everybody here will be pretty darn excited to see your new green iron!
.
Well... You can make 55 with stock parts on the LMTV. Bigger tires will make it go a little faster, but at the expense of uphill performance on a long climb. The 9xx series by default doesn't have lockers. USMC is pretty hardcore on having lockers, so look there to be able to have 6 wheels...

Might be worth looking down into the fuel tank with a bright flashlight. You could have stuff growing in your tank too. The guys in the posts above definitely offered up a good starting point! Pictures are a BIG plus!

So, I would say that it is quite obvious that I don't need heated lights. Dang!
Even if it is snowing and sleeting, I will just have summer and winter lighting...
.
Well, that isn't good. AND you might not ever finish paying for that divorce. Get somebody on your team for sure!
Don't know that I could afford it, but maybe a PM just because I am curious what one might sell for?
.
Ouch! That wouldn't be good...
We have the little BB sized spurs around here. They won't go through a shoe, but they cling to socks really well!
I do have a chestnut tree in the back yard at home. Now THAT is like a sand spur on steroids! They will stab you through a leather boot and...
.
I like your new outside handles and the new interior panels too! Nice!
Guess I am cheap, but I bought a bag of those "christmas tree" panel holders and mine is sooo much better. I was like you on the inside... No handles on mine either and Suprman fixed me up too. Will is a heck of a...
Way to go retro_life !
Thanks for the kind words M1009_SPAIN . I feel sure "retro" knows that but I just had to say it. Go man Go!
I think an organization like this - where all of us have something to share or something to learn - is what MVing is all about!
.
Like the guys said... Welcome to the outfit!
There is definitely something good to be said for patiently learning at home in the driveway. Learning on the side of the road with a "helper" on the side of the road with a bubblegum machine on top behind you - not so good!
Is your recent...

Does seem like a dryer would be a nice addition. Then again too, wonder if the old guys who drove a deuce were responsible enough to drain their air tanks daily? Maybe they didn't need an automatic spit valve to manage their air system... I really wonder how dry the air is on the "dried"...

Smart Idea M37M35
Getting to know your local towing company - especially the guy here in town that I know with several BIG rotators - sure is a nice guy to know if something goes wrong. Have never needed them with my MV's, but he has bailed me out of a jam for other things...

What really makes me pucker up and cringe is the end of that boom so close to the power line.
Hoping it is a camera illusion and you are more than a boom length away if something goes wrong.
.
So, I tried to download and apparently I am no longer "special" enough to know anything anymore.

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't imagine that you will be dropping your truck out of a plane or on a sling under a chopper.
Chances are that drilling two holes won't cause structural integrity problems in that bumper.
Just guessing though.
