    65 Kaiser M35A2 project starts

. Wow... Impressive. Neat that you got a lot done! Knowing some history about that truck is just so incredible to have.

Was looking for a shop in or near Milwaukee to work on M1008; then did it all myself!

. Yep. You don't need the info now, but the same tapered bolt in one end just like a tie-rod end. A swift smack on the "rounded" part where the new shiny piece goes through the tie-rod would have made it pop out too. You will definitely feel a difference driving!

    Real useful load limit LMTV&FMTV

. There is one in every crowd... Knows everything, Has a relative that knows everything. Most of them aren't capable of reading either....

    MRAP Brakes

. Might try chocking the wheels and plug "house air into the front (right facing the truck) glad hand if you have it available. That way if something is hissing air you could track it down rather than trying to hear over the rattle of the motor.

What have you done to your FMTV or LMTV today

. Nice. So, you think the wife might go for it if you had a set of steps to climb in and out on? Seems like a shame not to run around the neighborhood in it a few times...

Bought an M35A2, with a unique addition

. Oh I dunno... What do you want to do is incredibly hard to deal with. At least you are clear on that. Easier to know than to wonder...

    Real useful load limit LMTV&FMTV

. What about this chart? It is attached. Not sure on bed weight, but that is included as part of the truck.

M342/M35 trunnion and suspension repair "Watch Wes Work"

. Yes sir. Finding a set of springs from a "bobber" that would have gone to the scrap pile would be great. Adding more leaves would add more weight and adding load capacity. On the other hand, it will make the ride more harsh as well. There is magic in a lot of things. Springs are one...

    Body Lift question.

. Welcome to the outfit LokelYokel ! Not a lot of answers I can give you, but there are a crowd of people here who know more. One suggestion might be that the refrigerant charge is on the low edge of not enough. Cycling off and on is one possible symptom. Be sure to snap and post some pix...

M342/M35 trunnion and suspension repair "Watch Wes Work"

. Can't help but wonder if a real spring shop - Salem Spring for example would be the right way to solve that problem. Years ago they were the place to go here in Charlotte. We would take sets of springs to be "rebuilt". They would disassemble and clean. Then re-tension to the specified...

So.... i did a thing today....

. That means same time next week, you are on a mission! Maybe your GF needs to sit in a lawn chair in front of the truck and help you get that bumper lined up

Was looking for a shop in or near Milwaukee to work on M1008; then did it all myself!

. On the bright side, because it was a little bit difficult - you won't ever forget what you learned!

Bought an M35A2, with a unique addition

. Agreed. Married is good. New question: What does your dear wife need lifted that you can't pick up and move for her? That way you can have a crane and she has a big strong man to operate it for her  All in how it is presented...

    BRDM-2 Konkurs/Spandrel 9P148

. I have absolutely no real idea and have nothing more than a guess... But, is it possible to follow the hydraulic lines (or electrical connected to the lever that control the hydraulics) to see what is going on? One of the systems on a truck I have was "spastic" like that. No reasoning...

My $40K wrecker (M936A1) refurbished at Memphis Equipment

. Truck in question is supposed to be a "reconditioned" truck according to the member ( Norinco666 ) who posted the thread on the problem. Before we beat a vendor over the head that supports our organization, I would like to plead for our members to give them the opportunity to do the right...

So.... i did a thing today....

. Looks nice! It just looks "tougher" than when she was tan. Now if a fella had a scrub brush and applied it to those tires... :) Of course that could be "Masking Mud" that is special made for painting.

    Another WC63 found...

. Nice!! Lots of green and looking really good.

    BRDM-2 Konkurs/Spandrel 9P148

. Very Nice!! That looks like it would be a fun toy to drive. Being able to retract the AT tubes is cool. Being able to stand them up while you wheel down the road - now THAT is where the real fun would be! Might need a co-pilot for that. Silly questions: Guess you have found the hydraulic...

    Deuce brake help

. It could be that sitting let it somehow collect water in the plunger in the brake booster, so maybe the rubber o-rings got tired. Maybe some of the other guys will chime in with better answers - but it may well need a replacement airpack.

My $40K wrecker (M936A1) refurbished at Memphis Equipment

. I understand. Really. And yes, it sucks for sure! I seriously doubt that anybody who sells a truck intends to allow what happened to happen. There isn't any way they could stay in business if everything (anybody) sold was that way. Just trying to help you think through the problem... Also...
