If it was at an apartment I wouldn't be surprised.
Storage lot is an invite.
Sitting in the driveway at a house. That's different and way worse on several levels.
Do all you can to secure it.
They know where it is and they might be back.
I have read elsewhere that after a few parts...
ive had people come up to me to look at truck.
Several knew about the rust problems and were wondering where I bought it that kept it rust free.
I've sprayed lots of ACF50 in and on it to keep it that way.
Its the stuff we use on the helos for corrosion protection. Great lube too.
I know the last bumper numbers and looked the unit up.
There are at least 3 different ones that I can tell were there and can only read the last one.
What I meant was total history.
No
The car wash I use has very very hot water.
Does a really great job. Almost a steam cleaning effect.
I get close but stay away from alternators with the direct spray. They get wet outside of course.

It's tied into the voltmeter
As soon as key is on, it starts counting.
I idle it and drive slow a lot and use the Hobbs for all my maintenance.

The one is just right and looks factory.
Nice and balanced where it is
I've changed my mind
I like it a lot

Gem in the Rough...... M1008A1
I picked up my M1008A1 from Ft Hood on 9/11 I was a little disappointed.
Pics showed it to be in better cosmetic shape than it was. In fact I was a little pissed. Some things missing that weren't shown in pics.
After the 8 hour drive back to OKC I just left it...
Yes
I was talking about the BO light on the bumper.
I do like the idea a lot
Just stands out more with the slave port moved.
Agree that it would look weird with the light below slave port
If I had NVGs, that mod would be a must do!
Good idea
Havent seen that before.
i personally would have left slave port where it was and put light underneath.
Any pics of the install?
Looks like passanger BO light was painted over
I tapped into the same place
Works perfect !!
You can watch pressure change as
the RPMs change
Some oil was seeping around the valve but snugged it up with a wrench and it's all dry now.
Don't let it overwhelm you
Just make a list and take one thing at
a time
You will never be "done" as there is always something to fix or tinker with.
I was was lucky as mine came with a ton of new parts.
Try and get the best quality parts you can afford.
It will save you headaches later...
