4BT was going to be my suggestion. The turbocharged versions put out good power. The only thing the 6.5 engine belongs in is the HMMWV and that is debatable.
Welcome, those are called model G8T. The rear axle is made by Timken. What happens with the brake drum is the brake fluid leaks out of the wheel cylinder and causes the shoes to stick to the drum. Lots of beating and prying will get things loose. You should have military data plates on the dash.

I think Memphis added the double frame. See it's bolted on? Factory would be rivets. See if Memphis still has those data plates, very important to operate the REB correctly or you will damage the transfer case.
