No those were bought, nothing was fabricated but they are a very simple design and would be easy to copy if you were inclined.

We took a group video of some completed projects, all have been through and driven extensively

Agree could be a bad ground, but we had a shattered Bendix

We just did this to one of the trucks, its kind of a bitch if you have not done it. I took it apart and bought a new Bendix and wound up having a local auto electric/ starter shop reassemble it. They only charged $95 . good luck

Why is your tape measure out to 11'-1" to measure a 7/8" fitting ?

Not sure if this helps you. Looks like you are missing the inserts completely

Looks like someone forgot to shim the starter again. pull the starter, its just 2 bolts and 1 nut

Harbor freight sucks. China crap is the problem. But yes suck it out or dump it

Some do not have drain plugs. You can buy a new pan with a drain plug or tap one in yourself. did you measure it with the engine warmed up or cold?
