Dude 1442 people have viewed your thread, I would call that interest. Just because people have not chimed in don't mean a whole lot. I was GOING to post that those headlights kinda burn out alot, but did not want to rain on your parade.

Lansing-built trucks
Trucks built in Lansing, Michigan, carry data plates reading Reo Motors, Reo Division of White, Lansing Division of White. These trucks have six-digit all-numeric manufacturer’s serial numbers, which in addition to appearing...
Yes but the '95s would have been factory equipped with GM engines, and the '02's with GEPs, but either could have been repowered with either at reset. The GEP engine is greatly improved over the GM, although both are just fine.
Looks like a handful more of these found new homes yesterday 2/21/19. Reserve looks to be $8500. Getting tempting ...
Question for the lucky buyers, did yours have a GM or GEP engine?
I tried the 36,000 trailer with the A2 as well, even with LDS power, the axles, transmission and transfer were red hot after a few miles. Soon thereafter a 915 joined the fleet for this kind of work.
That 425 tire was not used in the military except on that trailer. The tire is used as a steer tire on trucks that need floatation like cement mixers etc. That size is seldom stocked new or used anywhere, and it is expensive, even Chinese Doublecoins are $600. Name brand $800 and up.
My advice to you is to have a hd wrecker come get it and put in storage. Then send a new carrier to haul the trailer the rest of the way on top of another trailer. It is not safe to tow a trailer with the axle chained up like that clear across the United States. The tires pictured in the...
You will not find a zipperless procedure in the TMs as the military did not use zipperless boots. Your choice of non-zipper boots requires you to disassemble the axle knuckles completely so you can slip the boot over the knuckle. An all day ordeal.
There is another thread on the topic of why these trucks were stripped. Basically a SF budget paid for the GMV upfits of basic HMMWVs and SF decided to keep the goodies rather than loose the investment at turn in time.
Well I thought I knew about most HMMWV add-on kits to date, but I missed this one that the USMC came up with. The Macaw unit is a backpack foam system that uses compressed air and a foam solution to shoot a jet of foam at a fire. The system can also be used for decontamination with a different...
