    400amp to 200amp swap

finding a reasonable 200a kit with brackets and wiring is doable. Finding a working/tested 200amp unit with regulator not crazy stupid priced will be a not so pleasant search.

What did you do to your trailer today.

I had a leak on the clamp style valve and the tire shop did not have replacement rubber seals in stock. To add insult to the problem , they did not have the regular valve either as it has the big hole which nothing in the last 25 years+ uses anymore. I went and got 2 rubber stems and now keep...

Current Power-outages in South West Florida and new River Flooding

1st, I do feel for all the citizens in sw Florida and hope for their recovery as here in New Orleans / Louisiana we are familiar with Hurricanes and remember Katrina still quite vividly. Unfortunately as we know quite well it will be a very long time like in 3-5 years for just something that...

    Funny failure mode

I was able to obtain years ago reasonably priced from a fellow member here sy-klone air filter precleaner and feel it helps get more air down the pipe. I have no scientific proof just a swag. I also like how it looks on my fording stack..... YMMV...

New guy here, just picked up a M103-A3, have a few questions

Bolster m796 or flatbed m1061 16.5 tires and rims could lower you but scarse and expensive. Others have ditched the axle with a civy unit. Square bulldog jack with appropriate rating would work but would mount to the frame not the original and mount needs to be fabricated.

    Amgeneral direct parts.

I would let mac know of the quality issues with the gaskets. I wonder if they are substituting aftermarket or china.com stuff... Had not heard of them doing so, I thought they were strictly AMG OE.

Hurricane Advice: HMMWV will not move!

simple. the low barometric pressure of the storm affected the flux capacitor. Glad you are ok. We are hoping here in the Big Easy to avoid one of those wind storm things this year. We typically prefer our hurricanes at Pat O Briens in the quarter.
