What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Easy to find. You can use the square or half moon lock pins. Home depot, Lowes, tractor Supply. OE also uses a metal wire rope crimped on both ends on to the pin assembly so it does not get misplaced. Also easy to make with stuff from Home Depot or lowes. I also had another pin at the ratchet...

    M1123 Power Loss

Green stick is a water separator. I would replace also while open. Clearly the filter was not changed and everything else done would be suspect and needs to be verified. I would give him the bill for the filter and separator and demand a refund plus labor.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

in La, we have a military vin stencil law as an option. 99.99% of law enforcement has not a clue to this statue. I have asked friends in State police and different depts who had never seen the law. I carry a copy with all my paperwork. I have never need it yet, as alI I get are waves and nods as...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

typically the covers I have seen are black rubber covers that slip over. The bottom can be cut to make it easy to slide on after everything is on. This vendor on ebay has it and is reasonable plus not stupid crazy shipping. Used him many times :)...

    M1102 Hand Brakes

Correct, if the system is working properly, twisting the knob will tighten or loosen the cable as the parking brakes are manually set assuming all the components are working properly. They need to be lubed well and often neglected. Older ones used to have a zerk fitting. I do not think the...

    What is this???

Not sure as that is not the one I was thinking of. Some hoods from the sandbox have a bracket there to attach a thermal id panel but that is not it. I would be curious to see a close up pic. That was done as a unit/field mod and not a common practice.

    What is this???

That bracket is probably it. They were typically black and slighly triangular irregular shape. Post pic of bracket. I can't remember the name of the company who made them so I could post pics of the lights.

    BEWARE

I don't have any info on this situation but not uncommon for phone number not to match address or names. As part of my job, I fundraise and try to find contact information for donors when I don't have it. Do your due diligence but use more than google.

They are universal kits added for more supplemental IR led lights. Lights are small. Do you have any supplemental lights on your grill or hood?

(Solved) M923A2 Right rear brakes grabbing

Air brake components are all hd truck stuff mostly haldex. Easy to find @ truck pro, napa etc. I would not bother with a used takeoff as it is likely just as old as what you took off.

SAE 40w Oil in Transmission in M923A2

Lots of threads here on best practices for allison lube. One factor to consider -are you going to carry or tow significant weight? Mine came with dex 3 already converted by the military. I do not carry any weight and occasionally moderate tow. Very satisfied with my shifting and smooth...
