My new M1152 has a mechanical speedometer installed. I thought all M1152's had the electric 80mph speedo's installed. Was this an upgrade done later on? I have found the kit for the whole setup, part number 57k4882. And has anyone tried the Oshkosh LVS speedo, I looks the identical.
There are a couple version of this speedometer. In the back you see dip switches that can adjust this one for compatibility. There is also one without dip switches and correct part number that should work with the OEM sending unit. I made a twisted pair signal cable and ran it from the sending unit to my dash. Added 24vdc and a light and she is ready to try. I haven't had a chance to try it since I installed it. Total install was probably less than $100 but I already had the sending unit. I think I still have the part number and there were a few on epay when I was looking.

Which model did you install and please report back if it works!

Here is the part number 5-S2-00080-MPH-24-BA-O-0 but a quick check doesn't show any on ebay. I do have another one that had a couple minor dents on the bezel that I fixed. The bezel would have to be painted either green or black. I don't think it has the terminal screws or the light. You could have that pretty cheap if you wanted it. But wait until I run mine ... I'll try to get it out of the garage this week or next weekend. I have a side project blocking it in the garage at the moment.

They have different styles, this looks close.
They do not list that it is lighted? no pictures of the back side.

If looking for aftermarket try Autometer 2690. They are black bezel, light socket included, mechanical to 80mph, trip meter, and no metric clutter. Also can be found cheaper
