My agency still has a M1009 in service. It has always been reliable when used regularly. However it was allowed to sit for over a month with the mobile radio left on and obviously the batteries were drained. I was not present but evidently it was jump started by hooking to the front battery...
My M1009 came with a near perfect dash pad, no cracks anywhere. However it was quite chopped up around the instrument bezel. Any ideas how I could repair this to tighten everything back up around the cluster? Also you may notice the corners at the speaker vents are turned down quite a bit. Am I...
