wind would have to work really hard to drop this hood. Those struts work awesome. All I have to do is lift the hood like 2 inches and it automatically pops up. One of the best mods I’ve done to this truck
Got my hood strut kit installed today. Man I love this. 10 times easier doing anything under the hood since I don’t have a hood catch to hold hood the open I don’t have to worry about the hood falling on me now.

Take easier and cheaper out. That’s why guys run wheel spacers to begin with. There cheap and easy. Safer is usually not easier or cheaper.
I suspect he’s running 14.00 or 16.00 with no lift and now he’s rubbing the J pipe. If that is the case, lift would correct that. Would need more info on...

I agree. Thats the next huge project for me hopefully this winter/spring. Along with disc brakes. Figured I do it all in one shot. Expensive yes but I’ve been saving and you can’t put a price on safety. Just the benefit of disc is worth the cost. Better braking, no brake fade, better heat...
Wow. Sorry for your lose. Good luck getting another one or repairing that one. I always use wheel chocks even sitting in my driveway. At least nobody was hurt.
State Farm 600.00 bucks a year, that’s with antique tags, full coverage, full tort, and insured for 40k. I know my trucks not worth that but it wasn’t much money to it so why not? Oh I’m in PA. Antique tags in PA require no state inspection, and no registration. I used the vin on my data plate...
