New To Me Engine, Won't Start

M1009. I removed the motor due to an issue with the block. It ran perfect. I bought a long block. I was told it had 9x000 miles on it and was running fine when removed. I inspected the bottom end, made sure everything went around like it should and felt like it should. Everything seems fine...

    6.2 IP timing

I've searched using key words and cannot find the specifics I am looking for. I looked in all the TMs also. I am sure I've missed something along the way, but I am wasting time chasing my tail. That being said, here's the issue: I am replacing my engine with a new to me 6.2 out of another M1009...

    J vs C Code 6.2

I've read several threads regarding swaps. I need to replace my OEM J code in my M1009. I can get a C code engine for hundreds less than a J code. These engines are are listed as a replacement for a 1990 truck. If I understand it correctly, I can drop the C code in with no modifications? Thanks.

I wasn't to far from the house so I let it cool down and then drove it home. It did not drag on the way home and I did use the brakes a few...

Rebuilt Gen 1 still have problem

I checked all the wiring and voltages as instructed in the TM. I read many alternator threads including the sticky. I initially found the diode trio was bad and they indeed tested bad on the bench. I replaced the voltage regulator, diode trio and rectifier. The brushes are good and the winding...

Just picked up the truck today and noticed a leak coming from under the dash, along the right kick panel when it rained. What gasket would need replacement?

    Tire size question

Will 14.5 R20 tires fit stock duece wheels? Same question for 12.5 R20. I wouldn't think that they would fit on rear in stock configuration due to width. Thanks in advance.

    Louisiana M35A2 insurance and registration

This is specifically for Louisiana although the insurance should be applicable anywhere. I had already registered mine like a regular vehicle (but didn't get a plate) so I will be able to skip the inspection headache. It would seem that is you don't want a personal inspection for any reason...
