They won't go above the upper frame rail, at least that's my experience maxing the flex out of mine, purposely twisting it on a couple of boulders in the desert. although I will admit there was only about 800 lb of gear in the back
Watched the video, suggestion: Do a split screen with the road your going down on one side, aka dash cam, the bags on another, and going off road, timed to match. Keep up the good work!
having reverse engineered the entire Expansible Van Body, I wish i could go back in time and tell them how to improve it.... several poor design decisions...
thanks, i figured the sleeve must be for direction but it must be a bit stuck or need more tension first. TM just says "operate the jack up" or "operate the jack down"...
anybody know how to use the expansible van leveling jacks? how does the knurled collar at the base of the crank handle hole work? anyone have the feet for those?

I figured out a nice way to let the laws of gravity and the tire hoist help you with changing a tire off the rim. Perhaps I'll demonstrate it at the event if there's a spare tire in need of changing. I plan on being there. Just a hop, skip, and a jump for me.

I have two of the filters as shown in the image up there with the y pipe. If that's the same kind that you're mentioning we only need one of then I'll sell my other one
Out of morbid curiosity I looked up the alternator cuz when I tried to click on the link it said malware attempt. It's still a $2,200 alternator! Nice work though
I would say don't necessarily spend the money on the tool until you try it other ways. Mine came off actually stupid easy and I ended up not even really needing it. I had a standard two jaw puller that was a big one. I put two pieces of pipe around the ends and put those in the yoke holes, and...
Nice image yeah I see that they supplemented the lack of a second frame rail with the plates. Even more reasons why the semi would be the best platform option for building a camper.
Yep I believe you are correct. But the second frame section you can mount anything and it's above the transmission it's also above the wheels. With my m1083 doing a flex test in the desert the wheels never go above the top of the second frame. So anything you mount to the second frame can be...
