It is leaking right under the edge of the head where it bolts down to the housing..
3 o-ring sets have been put on this thing now..
dropped my little inspection mirror and broke it, getting another in the morning to look in behind the head again to see if something is visible there..

@@RY^%^&&^%$$$#.....POOP...drove truck yesterday, no leaks......drove it today and my original leak is back....WTF...leaks right at the joint seam where the pump meets the housing.
Hairline crank in head????? Leaks more fuel when engine is reved up.

Scotch blocks are not good to use, they have a tendency to cut thru the wire over time causing a no connection....heat shrink splices are way better. Get the kind with the sealant, they work nice and make neat work

Talked to AMBAC this morning....they have a very nice breakdown of the pump assemblies with their part numbers....now if they would return my call....hmmmm
quill shaft and button retainer........got in truck to go pick up some stuff, no start.....checked some things out and found broken shaft.....nice

hey rusty.....didn't file on pump but filed the bottoms of the attachment collars to make them pull down a tad bit farther on the housing.....replaced the O-rings a couple of months ago when it developed a gusher
replaced them again today as I was checking to make sure I maybe had pinched the...
the collars are stepped .... filed the bottom of the hold down collars not the step to make the collars have more of a gap at the bottom...that way it shortens the step where they hit the housing.....the step part was worn like the housing was vibrating making it wear the step down
Anyone ever had to file the collars that hold the hydraulic head housing....mine were worn and I guess were not crushing the O-rings enough so I had a high rpm leak
