I don't believe the lower joint (wheel side) comes out of the cup...even if removed from the shaft...at least as far as I can tell...but I have no idea really.     Okay…I noticed that the grease in the inner joint on the two halfshafts that I removed (rear) was slightlymilk chocolaty colored as opposed to the outer joints that looked darker. Is this an indication of anything bad? I wouldn’t be surprised if these are the original halfshafts…they look well...

    Glow plugs are bad. I tested 3 of them and they all failed. Tried to remove them to inspect them...all three are swollen and I couldn't get them out. I guess I'll be buying that ridiculously expensive black dog custom extractor tool. Hopefully new plugs will solve this problem.
