Am I getting a good deal?

Hey all…I bought it. It’s in phenomenal shape. It was definitely a good deal! The diesel leak is definitely the return lines.

Speaking of…where would you recommend getting replacement lines?I stopped at a local auto parts shop and they don’t carry the cloth wrapped stuff. Maybe the cloth wrap isn’t necessary…or maybe a specific auto parts shopis known to have that on hand? Would like to find locally so I can at least give the kiddo a ride around the block this evening.

I source most of my replacement parts from MacMotors or KASCAR (real4wd). I've not bought replacement lines though. A few of the 'bulk' parts, I was able to search the part info from the service manual and find the original hoses in bulk and buy them that way. (Usually Amazon, Rock Auto or the local auto parts store.)

my truck didn't have cloth covered lines. Not really necessary to have the cloth on them; it just makes the outside a little tougher against abrasion. Make sure they aren't rubbing on anything (most should just be hanging out in the open anyway)

Would be the same size as the civy 6.2/6.5L so you should be able to get them locally.
