    Gaz Parts Source

They are simple and easy to repair, often you can also fit them with parts from other vehicles, so you don't really have to order that much spare parts if you don't use them off-road too much. I have an ex-army 1985 UAZ 469B with something about 8000 km on the clock, which had only one problem...

    Unknown dump bed hinge assembly?

WW2 began in 1939  The only two English books about WW2 tanks are "T-34-85 Medium Tank 1944–94 " and "T-34 in Action", by Steven Zaloga, but they both contain quite a lot of mistakes.

    Really small for a 6x6.

    Kraz 255b

I would have to make few phone calls tomorrow. I think, that I saw them few years ago in one of Polish Army bases. Probably I will be able to source a set or two.

    Kraz 255b

If I were you, I would replace both filters with something more modern, because they both get stuck really easily. Especially the first one, which is made from paper. There is always rust or sludge in tanks of vehicles which stood not used for few years. Anything from a bus or a fairly modern...

    Czech Reader Mil experience?

Dave, which panels do you need to translate? Send me an email with pictures,I will go to my friend's T-55AM and will translate them for you. Plus I will have the opportunity to compare Polish built T-55AM Merida with Czechoslovakian T-55AM2 :) Driver's control panel is very easy, it's worse with...

Ural and Tatra next to the T34s

It is a matter of price and condition, but if it's right I'm definately interested. :)

Whose going to war and peace / beltring?

I wanted to bring a Ural 375D or Zil 131 with radio body, but I would spend at least 4000 Euro just for transportation, plus what I spend on the spot (which probably will be a lot). Paperwork for trucks is quite easy as long as you leave all the radios at home. :) But it is certainly a truck...

    Can anyone ID this 8x8?

Driving the BTR must be a unique experience, with the two engines and awfully complicated drive train, it must require a serious amount of skill. Which BTR do you have?

    Unique Iron Soldiers 1920-....

That is Renault FT-17, or a local copy of it, maybe manufactured on a license. TK-3 had a Ford A engine developing 40 hp at 2200 rpm.

    Can anyone ID this 8x8?

These are really cool. Once I had an opportunity to take a closer look at Toczka (SS-21 Scarab) missile system, really nice vehicles. And they are suprisingly easy to operate. :)

Whose going to war and peace / beltring?

I will be there since Wednesday, just as a spectator. Will visit some friends, buy some stuff and hopefully have a lot of fun. :) Unfortunately getting a military vehicle through five borders twice is way to expensive and complicated for a five day visit. :(

    East blok surplus for sale

No way. No one would sell good condition Kraz for 3,5 Euro, when he can get 8,5 for it easily. Most of these pictures were made in STV Group warehouses, I bought equipment from them before and believe me, they wouldn't sell a Kraz for silly money. BTW these OT-64s and Kraz trucks come from...

Ural and Tatra next to the T34s

The tank is VT-34, recovery version of T-34. Trucks are from the left GAZ 66 and Tatra 805. Robo McDuff- is the diesel Ural still available? PS. Ural with a radio body weights about 10-11 tons.

    Tank from Walking Dead

I think, that last Transformers movie had an Abrams, which could transform to a Autobot. But I haven't seen the movie yet, just trailers.

    The ULTIMATE MV ?

I would definitely buy one if I was a Colombian drug smuggler. ;) We have a Kilo class submarine in our Navy and it is able to suprise NATO warships during excersizes. :) BTW. USSR - which class of submarine is it?

    Test driving & buying a Russian T-72

Yes, Georgian bought the best T-72, but they didn't come from Polish Army, because the first batch was released lately and all of them were bought by Czechs. And only three of them were from the second category. They were one of the first T-72s in Poland, manufactured in USSR. Rest of them were...

    Test driving & buying a Russian T-72

True, but they came from Czech, Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine. I am speaking about the tanks, that STV has in stock right now and these are retired T-72s from Polish Army. Yep, we made T-72M (or M1), it was a downgraded, export version. I guess soviets never trusted their satellites too much...

    Test driving & buying a Russian T-72

Guys if you want to buy T-72s from STV Group in Czech republic buy one of the three most expensive. They are like new, almost not used at all. Rest of them is in pretty ****ty condition. They bought 50 of them in Poland and I saw them and spoke with the mechanics just before sale - most of the...
