Added a Dynomax muffler from Summit Racing. Sounds great! Whacked off the stack, welded on the muffler, slipped the upper stack into the oter end and welded it on as well. Lowered the end of the stack about 5 inches or so. Better that way for serious off roading (less likely to catch on limbs)...

Here are some pics as I go along. Notice the new muffler welded into the stack. MUCCCHHHH better than stock. Boxes on rear chassis rail are the air assist steering I'm going to install this weekend! Next comes re-installing the rear crossmember, reconnecting the glad hands, bleeding the brakes...

I wish I had a plasma torch! That would have made life a lot easier. The standard gas axe was very messy and hard. My original idea was/is to stretch the duece cab all the way to the back and fab up scalloped sides like a wwii dodge command car. It would be nice to have the kids (wife too!) in...

A better way is if you have one of the portable jump starters, the kind that plug into the wall and have short jumpers on them, attach it to the rear battery and regular cables to the front. Works a treat! Cheers from over here, Cole

I left the first drive axle connected to the prop shaft and then used the gas axe to whack off all the trailing arms and u-bolts then rolled the second drive axle out. Next was using the torch to trim the center truck plate off just below the chassis. Lots of cursing, pry bars, sweat and some...
